Columbia GSAPP Core I Design Project
Project Duration: 4 Weeks
Collaboration with James Oberting
Instructor: Andrea Chiney (A+A+A)

Location:  City Hall Park, NYC
Project Type:  Ecology/ Landscape

How can we collaborate with birds? The park is a microcosm of New York City life, fostering chance encounters and unexpected collaborations. However, the urban environment is often hostile to birds, contributing to a strained relationship between humans and birds. Our design seeks to mend this relationship through thoughtful interventions that encourage collaboration and coexistence.
